Kathmandu | Breakfast
Our tour officers or foreign language guides provide a hearty welcome
to the Kingdom. We are transferred to our hotel.
Day 2
Kathmandu | Breakfast
A full day of sightseeing to take in the important historical and cultural
attractions of the Valley. We start the day by visiting the center of
the old city of Kathmandu. The palace of the mediaeval Malla kings "Hanuman
Dhoka" and the temple dedicated to the living goddess "Kumari" are the
highlights. After lunch we visit Pashupatinath Temple and Bodhnath Stupa.
We return to Kathmandu City and our hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 3
Kathmandu | Breakfast
Visit Patan City, and proceed to the medieval villages of Bungamati and
Khokana.
Day 4
Kathmandu-Chitwan | Breakfast, lunch, dinner
We have an early morning drive to the Royal Chitwan National Park, one
of the best preserved of the nationals parks in Asia, habitat of the Royal
Bengal Tiger and the One-horned Indian Rhinoceros. We arrive in our jungle
resort and check in. We begin our safari activities almost immediately
with a briefing, elephant ride, jungle walks, and canoe ride and jeep
ride in pursuit of myriad flora and fauna. In the evening we have some
cultural entertainment plus bonfire during winter.
Day 5
Chitwan | Breakfast, lunch, dinner
We continue on our wildlife pursuits today in the presence of qualified
naturalists.
Day 6
Chitwan-Pokhara | Breakfast
After an early breakfast we drive to Pokhara, the picturesque mountain
town located on the laps of the mighty Annapurna mountain range. We check
in at our resort and head for the famous lakeside for optional boating
and shopping.
Day 7
Pokhara-Kathmandu | Breakfast
After breakfast we drive to airport for a short flight back to Kathmandu.
We get a transfer to our hotel in Kathmandu. Rest of the afternoon at
leisure.
Day 8
Kathmandu Departure | Breakfast
We are free today until our departure transfer to the airport.
