City Tour [ ISVSQ01 ]

Discover the history, culture and lifestyle of multi-racial Singapore. Stroll along the colourful streets of Little India and be dazzled by the hive of activity that permeates every nook and cranny of the area. Then breeze along the Singapore River, where much trading activity to transform an obscure fishing village to a world-class seaport and metropolis took place. Look out for the quaint waterfront shop houses, skilfully restored and rejuvenated and sitting in the shadow of the majestic towering buildings of the Financial District beyond.

Join in the bustling activity of Chinatown, a place where many of our immigrant forefathers set up home. Patronise the varied and unique shops and visit the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore - the magnificent Sri Mariamman Temple.

Swing by the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the 'green lung' of the city centre and experience the calm and serenity of this 52 hectares garden. Located within the grounds of the park is the National Orchid Garden, where you can marvel at the wide variety and colours of orchids on display. At a jewellery factory you can engage in one of Singaporeans favourite pass times - shopping or simply admire the fine designs of Singapore jewellers


Journey to the West [ ISVSQ02 ]

Pick-up Time : 0900 & 1400 Hrs | Tour Starts : 0930 & 1430 Hrs | Duration : 3 ½ Hrs

Tour begins with a visit to one of the oldest Chinese Temples in Singapore, the Thien Hock Temple which is more than 160 years old. The unique wooden structures and wood carvings were built and assembled without using any nails.

On to Tiger Balm Gardens, where you experience the colour, vibrancy and rich pageantry of Chinese culture. Re-live the myths and legends of ancient China, such as the 10 Courts of Hell, Journey to the West and the 8 immortals invading Neptune Palace.

Next, we visit Jurong Hill to see the Garden of Fame where trees were planted by visiting dignitaries. From the hill you will be able to have a panoramic view of the Jurong industrial estate and Jurong island; made up of seven small islands linked together to support the growth of petrochemical and chemical industries in Singapore. On the return journey visit the Ming Village, in the light industrial area. Ming Village produces hand crafted replicas of chinese porcelain from the Sung, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Observe the process of moulding, glazing and artistic free hand painting on the fine porcelain replicas in the factory tour.


Cheng Ho Imperial Cruises [ ISVSQ03 ]

Sail to the Southern Islands and see the busiest port in the world on board our air-conditioned imperial Chinese Vessel M.V. Cheng Ho. There are 3 Cruises to choose from:

Morning Glory : 1030 Hrs | Duration : 2 ½ Hrs

Enjoy the Morning Glory Cruise with a stopover at Kusu Island, except during Kusu Festival (around October), to see the ancient Chinese temple which legend says was set up by Admiral Cheng Ho for his sailors. Complimentary coffee or tea and biscuits will be served

High Tea Cruise : 1500 Hrs | Duration : 2 ½ Hrs

The afternoon cruise follows the same route as the Morning Glory Cruise but includes a delectable selection of cakes, tartlets and sandwiches served for high tea.

Dinner Cruise : 1830 Hrs | Duration : 2 Hrs

If you want to enjoy sailing at its best, join the sunset dinner cruise. The evening breeze, the setting sun and the peace and quiet of the open sea is an experience not to be missed. View all this from the aft castle of M.V. Cheng Ho before sitting down to a sumptuous buffet dinner.

Zoo Tour [ ISVSQ04 ]

Let us take you on a wild and exciting tour at the Singapore Zoological Gardens, where you'll find over 2,000 animals from all over the world residing in habitats virtually similar to their own. Set in 28 hectares of lush, landscaped gardens, the zoo is based on an open concept with very few cages. You may observe several of the interesting exhibits from your seat in an electric tram followed by breakfast with your very special orang utan (optional). (Afternoon tour does not include high tea). Then its 'Animal Showtime' with specially trained snakes, sea-lions, oran utans and elephants.


Night Safari [ ISVSQ05 ]

Most animals are nocturnal. At dusk they begin to stir for the hunt. At the Singapore Zoo these activities are captured to best effect using subtle lighting which permits us to watch upclose whilst not disturbing the animals.

The Singapore Zoo houses over 2000 animals from 110 exotic species. The tiger, striped hyena, golden jackal, cape buffalo, blue sheep and the rare greater one-horned rhinoceros are but some of the animals you will see. The Night Safari covers an area of 40 hectares of secondary jungle with Seletar Reservoir providing a beautiful backdrop.

A tram ride, upon arrival at the zoo is the easiest way to familiarize yourself with the large grounds. At the end of the ride you may wish to enjoy dinner in a romantic forest setting.

After dinner feel free to stroll and take a closer look at the animals. The sound of the crickets and owls and the chance to see the tigers or hyenas feasting makes a truly memorable experience.


Night Tour [ ISVSQ06 ]

Pick-up Time : 1830 Hrs | Tour Starts : 1900 Hrs | Duration : 3 ½ Hrs

Our first stop is Raffles landing site. At the mouth of the Singapore River. From here, take a river boat ride to Clark Quay to view night life by the river. Shops, bars, discotheques and restaurants line the river banks. At Clark Quay, we go for dinner to a Chinese restaurant.

After dinner, rejoin the coach for a scenic ride via Benjamin Sheers Bridge to Bugis Village made infamous by sailors during the 60's. At the bustling night market, bargains can be found for cassette tapes, VCDs, watches, T-shirts and other souvenirs.

Last stop is Raffles Hotel. This grand hotel has been restored to its former glory when guests included Somerset Maugham, Noel Coward and Liz Taylor.


City in Transformation Tour [ ISVSQ07 ]

This tour provides you with an excellent photo opportunity to capture the spirit of Singapore at the Marina Promenade. Discover ancient practices like "feng shui" still thriving amidst the towering skyscrapers in the financial district. Stopover at Singapore River - Boat Quay, where early migrants struggled to eke out a living. We will walk down the narrow side streets to discover old shop houses once used in our entrepot trade put to new use as cyber cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Next, experience the essence of multicultural Singapore at Waterloo Street, where you can observe devotees at two temples, one a Chinese Kwan Imm Temple and another a Hindu Temple - Sri Krishnan Temple. As we drive along Waterloo Street you will also see a Jewish Synagogue and a Catholic Church. Our last stop is Arab Street - Kampong Glam. Learn about the practice of Islam in this part of the world at the Sultan Mosque. Along Arab Street notice the colourful textiles, cane and rattan basketry, leather goods and hand crafted brass works of art.

This tour gives you an understanding of what Singapore is all about - a City rushing into the new economy but still treasuring its heritage.


Jurong Bird Park [ ISVSQ08 ]

This tour is a must for bird enthusiasts and a pleasure for those who simply enjoy nature in all its beauty.

Our route take us along Keppel Harbour, part of the world's second busiest port and the Jurong Industrial Estate, Singapore's economic showpiece.

At the Bird Park, you'll find hundreds of exotic birds flitting happily about their daily lives. In fact, there are over 7,000 birds of more than 600 species gathered in this beautiful 20-hectare sanctuary!

Visit the world's largest walk-in aviary and view what is said to be the world's highest man made waterfall. Also included is an amusing 25 - minute Bird Show.


Sentosa Island Tour [ ISVSQ09 ]

Escape to Sentosa - the island of peace & tranquility.

Take our coach to Sentosa island via a bridge and change to a monorail to get an excellent introduction to this tourist and recreational island theme park.

Visit Sentosa Underwater World, Asia's largest oceanarium. Next board a bus to Butterfly park, the beautiful landscaped park is specially designed to exhibit live butterflies and insects in lush natural environment.

We then take a short walk to the Images of Singapore, the wax museum to view images of historical Singapore including the World War II Surrender chamber and pioneers of Singapore.
Tour ends with a Cable Car Ride, back to the mainland at Mount Faber which offers a breathtaking, panoramic view of the Port of Singapore.


Sentosa (Underwater World (Afternoon)

Visit Sentosa and the Underwater world in the afternoon or at sunset for the most romantically inclined (we offer 2 departures daily). See the attractions of this isle of tranquillity including the latest multimillion-dollar Underwater World. Your coach ride takes you pass the Container Port of Singapore, the busiest in the world, to Mount Faber for your cable car ride. Attractions on the island: your visit will include the Underwater World, Asia's largest oceanarium, Sentosa Wax Museum to see the pioneers of Singapore and the Surrender Chamber depicting events in Singapore in the 2nd World War.

Also included is a scenic monorail ride. This is followed by a visit to the musical fountain and return by coach via the causeway to the World Trade Centre.

For evening tour, time constraint: insufficient time for sit down dinner. Fast food outlets offering snacks & sandwiches located at attractions, before adjourning to the musical fountain to enjoy, after sunset, the sight and sound show at its best.


Heartlands of New Asia-Singapore [ ISVSQ10 ]

Discover life in Singapore in the old days., when fishing villages and "kampung" living thrived and community spirit ran high amongst the villagers. Today, this community spirit and traditional lifestyle lives on, albelt in a more modern setting. Truly a case of city with its head in the future and its soul in the past!

The tour starts at Suntec City, a modern cluster of impressive buildings in the heart of the city. We drive eastwards to visit Malay Village, which showcases the traditional lifestyle in Kampung community during the 50s and 60s of Singapore.

Next, a visit to Changi Prison Museum and view a replica of the Chapel which was used during World War II. The tour then proceeds to Changi Village passing by Changi Yacht Club and Tampines New Town with a stop at the Tampines Chinese Temple that houses 9 dieties.


Flavours of New Asia - Singapore [ ISVSQ11 ]

The Dutch were the first to monopolise it and prospered greatly. Then the British got into the act and Singapore became the focus in the flight for command of one of the most exotic trading routes in the world - the Spice Route. Pepper, cloves, cinnamon, saffron … filled the bowels of ships and brought with it a steady stream of immigrants from as far afield as India, China, the Middle East and the Malay Archipelago. Today, spices lace the foods of Singapore, made unique by the fusion of the traditional cuisine of its immigrants. Indeed, no visit to Singapore can be complete without a hearty "pig-out" on the scrumptious local fare. Singapore is a Gourmet Paradise. It is feasting on fish-head curry on a banana leaf. It is enjoying chilli crab and satay sticks under moonlit skies. It is managing an emperor's feast with a pair of wooden chopsticks.

We'll walk you through a Spice Garden - the original site of the first Botanic Garden. Followed by a visit to Peranakan showroom - display of peranakan kitchen crockery used. In Little India, we'll explore narrow streets overflowing with gold and spices, pots and pans, saris and gold. Take the opportunity to try some Indian foods - famed for its variety and infinitely subtle blend of aromatic spices and seasonings. Next a visit to wet market, where shrewd housewives jostle to ensure that only the freshest foods get laid out at the dinner table. Then drive pass Katong food street where a majority of Peranakan families have set up their homes and business. Our last stop at a Chinese Medical Hall in Chinatown. By the end of the trail we promise you will learn a thing or two about dining etiquette of the different races and even deal with that most ingenious of cutlery - your fingers and its extended version - the chopsticks!


Singapore Discovery Centre Tour [ ISVSQ12 ]

Take this tour to experience one of the latest attractions, the Singapore Discovery Centre. Interactive exhibits using latest technology show you past, present and future Singapore, whilst a Technology Gallery also in interactive mode displays the latest in military software and hardware.

Tour includes visit to TWERKS Theatre, a 5 storey high giant screen features the excitinig encounter in the Third Dimension, experience the wildest 3-D motion picture.

Optional highlights are:

1) Motion simulator where your seat moves and swerve in tandem with screened film.
2) Shooting gallery, a computer simulated firing range.


Johore Bahru Tour [ ISVSQ13 ]

Enjoy a trip to Johore Bahru, capital of the State of Johore, Malaysia which is linked to Singapore by a Causeway. The state has a population of approximately 1.7 million and Johore Bahru is the second largest city south of Kuala Lumpur. Across the causeway, visit the Royal Abu Bakar Mosque.

Then drive along Lido Beach to Craft Town to observe batik painting for wall pictures and sarongs. This is followed by a visit to a Malay Cemetery and the exterior of Royal Mauseleum to learn the Muslim culture of burial of their deceased.

We then proceed with a drive through the City Centre before making our way back across the causeway.


Kukup Tour [ ISVSQ14 ]

Let us take you to rural parts of Malaysia, to Kukup, a small fishing village built on stilts in the sea at the south western tip of Malaysia.

Along the way you'll pass plantations of pineapple, cocoa, coffee, rubber and palm oil. En route stops will be made at a 1) "Orchid Valley", a beautifully landscaped orchid plantation with its own fishing pond. Children's playground and small aviary and 2) A Pewter Factory to see how pewter is made into useful utensils and decorative objects.

At Kukup, visit the fishermen's village and take a boat ride to see the rearing of fish in floating nets off Kukup Island.

Then be our guest as you sit down to a delectable seafood lunch with a complimentary first round of soft drink or beer.
